Michael Marcoccia - Club Head Coach & Technical Director
In 2016, Mike earned "Coach of the Year" honours and led the squad to a League1 Championship. In 2017 he coached FC LONDON’s women to both League1 CUP and league championships. In 2017 Mike also led Fanshawe College to become back-to-back West Division Champions and OCAA Bronze Medalists. Michael’s senior playing career started in 2004 on scholarship at Spring Arbor University in Michigan before returning to London and playing for The University of Western Ontario, followed by a European playing tour spending time with multiple clubs playing Serie C and D in Italy and then in the Championnat National (Frances 3rd Div). After returning from Europe Michael played at London City, FC London, Marconi (2X National Champions) before moving full time into his coaching career. Michael has his CSA National B License and has coached (and served as Technical Director) at all levels of soccer from local youth Academy to high school to Women’s Premier all the way to the men’s Canadian Professional Soccer League
Paulo Sousa - Youth Technical Director & OPDL 2005 Boys
Paulo will be the Head Coach of 2005 Boys OPDL, TD for U8-U12 Boys/Girls and part of LONDON TFC Academy TAC Committee.
Paulo is a UEFA B licence and a graduate in Tactical Periodization from Porto University.
Paulo has worked with clubs in Portugal, Switzerland and and in Belgium was in an internship through the University of Ghent. Paulo was recently Technical Director/Coach of São Paulo FC Youth Soccer Academy since 2015 till the end of 2017.
Paulo is an advocate of football globalization and speaks four languages. Meanwhile, he created the soccer project Futebol Digital to spread knowledge among coaches and to publish eBooks, having over 4000 followers.
Jon Hassen - OPDL 2005 Girls & 2005 Girls
As the 2012-2014 EMSA District team coach and the 2013-2014 EMSA District Technical Director, Jon has proven time and again that his unique combination of on-field and off-field talents create an opportunity to teach based on example an experience. From a playing perspective Jon started his success at an early age winning the U16 Ontario Cup and Canadian National Championships in 1992. Selected to the National Soccer League Select Team which competed in the Ian Rush Tournament in Wales, he followed up with a scholarship to West Virginia's Elikns College where he earned Rookie of the Year honours. Coming back to Canada he repeated his ROY at Western which for the following 2 years were CIS All Canadian and National Champions.
His coaching and education have followed a similar successful path as Jon worked as an EMSA Camp Instructor from 1998-2013. With 12 years of coaching at the high-school level culminating in OFSAA Silver 2007,2014 and Gold in 2015, he has also acted as 2010-2012 Marconi Premier coach and Technical Director Lambeth FC.
Emily Gillett - Goalkeeper Coach
Emily Gillet is the club's female keeper coach.
Emily had Played W league with the gryphons
NCAA, ocaa, and Fanshawe college.
She has won OCAA Gold, CCAA (nationals) SILVER. League one champs 2016 & 17
League one cup champs 2017, League one first team all star, League one goalie of the year!
Jade Kovacevic - 2006 Pre-OPDL
Jade Kovacevic will be the Head Coach for the 2006 Pre OPDL girls and U21 girls head coach.
Jade has an Ontario Soccer "C" License, reigning League 1 Women's MVP , Top Goal scorer and former Canadian National Team player.
Jade was a regular for our Canadian Women's National Team system during her prep career. She Earned three international caps while representing her country including against Chile and South Korea ahead of the U-17 Women's World Cup.
Phil Pacheco - 2009 & 2010 Boys
Born and raised in Sarnia, During his youth career Philip won a youth Canadian National title, represented London in some of the largest tournaments in the US including the Dallas Cup. Philip was selected for London All star team that played against Napoli U21 team. Philip has also had some excellent experiences over in Europe with Sporting Clube de Portugal, Futebol Clube de Alverca, Sport Clube Olhanense and Clube Desportivo Fatima.
Brian Pistor - 2007 & 2008 Girls
Head coach of the 2007 and 2008 Academy Girls.
Brian had accomplished playing career, receiving Silver at youth Ontario Cup, Men's Ontario Cup and the Canadian National Club Championship. Brian has continued to play throughout his collegiate career at Fanshawe College, Western University Men's team and was a big part in helping FC London League 1 Divisional title in 2016.
Brian is considered one of the areas top Individual Technical Coaches and is highly knowledgeable in Periodization.
Brian is currently working towards his Ontario Provincial C license.
Eddie Schmidt - U17 Boys (and U21 Provincial FC LONDON)
Eduard Schmidt is Head coach for U17, U21 Provincial team, and Club Video Analyst. Eduard is a UEFA B license, has a profound background and special expertise in tactical analysis, writing for the highly regarded website “Spielverlagerung” in German as well as in English. He already provided video analysis for several professional clubs and academies in German speaking countries.

Parker Seymour - 2004 and 2008 Boys
Parker Seymour as Head coach of the OASL 2008 and 2004 Boys team.
Parker has a Swedish B license, played 4 years at UWO, League 1, recently returned from playing Professionally in Sweden and is in the process of completing his UEFA B license. Parker is vastly knowledgeable in Periodization and is one of the most talented young coaches in London and area.
Anthony Sokalski - Goalkeeper Coach
Anthony Sokalski as a Coach in LTFC Mini Excell U8 boys program. Anthony has Played four years of NCAA Division 1, played in Poland, Germany, He was selected League 1 all-star in 2016, lead the team to Divisional title and is still currently first team goalkeeper for FC LONDON League 1.
Robert Stillo - Goalkeeper Coach
Robert Stillo is Head Keeper coach.
Robert had played Professionally for Genoa in Seria A, was part of our Youth and Men's National Program.
Robert will bring his experience as a former Professional Keeper, having been trained by some of the top Keeper coaches in the World today, being in the National Program and is one of the Top Keeper coaches in the Province.
Chelsea Zavitz - 2010 Girls
Chelsea, had played for the University of Windsor, in 2017 and is currently playing soccer for Fanshawe college; received first team all star, won OCAA bronze medal and tournament all star.
Chelsea was also a key player for our League 1 Champions 2016 and 2017, as well as league 1 Cup champions 2017. Chelsea had also received the Jeffery Reed courage award 2016, for athletes that had overcome injury to lead to success.
Mike Robinson - Club Medical Director
Mike Robinson is our Club Medical Director.
Mike is a Certified Athletic Therapist, holds a masters in Athletic Training from Ohio University and is a PhD Candidate at Western University. Mike's research focus looks at increasing the accuracy of side line concussion assessment tools and participated in the 5th International Consensus Conference on Concussion in Sport (FIFA is a founding member) which publishes a consensus statement every 4 years which helps shape concussion policy world wide. He is also a part-time faculty member at Western University and Sheridan College and serves on Western's Senate, Board of Governors and the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association Board of Directors.
Mike is directly responsible for providing medical coverage to our League 1 and OPDL teams and coordinates with our sponsor Fowler Kennedy regarding the rehabilitation of our athletes. In addition, Mike provides basic injury assessment and advice to our academy athletes.
